Step 1: Create your account

Sign up for Vottiv, choose your account type, and enter your campaign details — Vottiv automatically loads the voter file for your district. Then activate your Data Center subscription to unlock your voter data.

Step 2: Explore your voter data

The Data Center is your campaign's home base. Search for any voter in your district, open their profile to see vote history and contact information, and get familiar with the data you'll be working with all cycle.

Step 3: Build your first voter group

Voter groups power everything in Vottiv — every canvass, text campaign, phone bank, and mail piece targets a group. Start with something simple, like likely voters in your party, and refine from there. Groups stay live and dynamic, so they update automatically as your voter file changes.

Invite your campaign manager, staff, and volunteers — each with the right permission level for their role.

Step 5: Planning to text voters? Register for 10DLC now

Carrier rules require political campaigns to complete 10DLC registration before sending texts, and approval can take several days. If texting is part of your plan, start the registration early so it's ready when you are.
