A. System-level location settings
- iPhone/iPad (iOS/iPadOS)
- Go to Settings β Privacy & Security β Location Services and toggle Location Services ON.
- Scroll down, tap Safari or Chrome β Allow Location Access: While Using the App (or Always, if your use case requires it).
- Toggle Precise Location ON.
- Android
- Go to Settings β Location and toggle Use location ON.
- Go to Settings β Apps β Chrome β Permissions β Location β choose Allow only while using the app.
- Make sure Use precise location (if shown) is ON.
- Optional (improves accuracy): Settings β Location β Location services β Google Location Accuracy β ON.
B. Browser & site permissions (mobile + desktop)
- Chrome (Android, Windows, macOS)
- Open chrome://settings/content/location β set βSites can ask to know your location.β
- Visit vottiv.app β click the lock (π) icon in the address bar β Site settings β Location: Allow.
- If Blocked previously: Settings β Privacy and security β Site settings β Location β Blocked, find vottiv.app, set to Allow.
- If issues persist: Settings β Privacy and security β Clear browsing data (Cookies & Site Data for vottiv.app only), then retry.
- Safari (iPhone/iPad)
- In Safari, open vottiv.app β tap aA in the address bar β Website Settings β Location: Allow.
- Or go to Settings β Safari β Location and set to Ask/Allow as needed.
- If stuck: Settings β Safari β Advanced β Website Data, search vottiv.app, Remove, then retry the site and allow when prompted.
