Campaigns using Vottiv who want printed canvassing walklists can use these instructions to download the targeted voter group and use our prompt in ChatGPT to make printable walklist.

✅ What This Process Does:

This will take your exported voter list and automatically:

Split it into separate precinct tabs
Sort addresses in walkable order
Generate printable PDFs for each precinct
Add checkboxes for:
- [ ] Talked to Voter
- [ ] Left Information

🧠 Step-by-Step Prompt to Use with ChatGPT:

Prompt:
"I’ve exported a voter list from Vottiv. Can you split this CSV into tabs by Precinct Name and then sort the addresses (column Registration Address) within each tab in walkable order? After that, generate printable PDFs for each precinct with just the following columns:

First Name

Last Name

Full Address

City

State

Zip

Party

And add two empty checkbox columns labeled Talked to Voter and Left Information for printing. The final output should be a ZIP file of all precinct PDFs. Let me know if you need anything else from me!"

🚨 WARNINGS:

The data you collect using paper walk lists will not show in the Vottiv system. So you will not be able to track who you talked to, or do any retargeting.
